I moved to Austin from Nashville, Tennessee in August 2006 for my husband to attend graduate school at UT Austin. I grew up in the mountains of NorthWest Georgia, but my husband is a Tennessee boy. I miss home terribly, but Austin is not a bad temporary stop!

We bought our first home here, and we are slowly trying to make some cosmetic renovations...if anyone has experience in this and wants to volunteer their services, please call! I have a lot of houseplants, and cuttings are always available, just ask! We have a dog named Iggy who is very entertaining to all who know her. No kids...yet.

My favorite colors are brown and orange. I love cool, crisp autumns in Tennessee, sitting on the back porch with family and friends watching the dogs chase the birds and squirrels while drinking a hot cup of coffee. I love anything made of cinnamon and sugar, and I have a particular weakness for brownies.

Things I like least: grumpy people, mosquitos, folding clothes, spam (either kind), and the price of airline tickets!
